8.5-cm engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals signed E. Thomas no. 1350 Depot de la Marine, blued Breguet hands and subsidiaries for seconds and power reserve, 2-day spring driven fusee and chain movement similarly numbered on the backplate, Earnshaw's detent escapement and maintaining power, balance with helical spring, brass case gimbal suspended in a three tier mahogany box with brass handles, ivory signature plaque to the front.
