4.8-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued spade hands, matted gilt surround with alarm subsidiary below, 8-day movement with club tooth platform lever escapement, alarm on a gong, only repeating the quarters and hours on two gongss on request, gilt corniche case surmounted by a handle and repeating button, glass panels to the top and all sides raised on a shaped plinth
