square dial with engraved silvered chapter ring signed Pieter Klok Amsterdam, pierced blued hands and engraved silvered alarm disc, matted centre with ringed winding holes, subsidiary seconds and date aperture with foliate engraved surround, fine foliate pierced gilt mask spandrels, 8-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack half hour striking and alarm on a bell, fine walnut case of rich colour with pierced front and side frets to the hood with cushion top, twisted columns flanking the glazed door, straight trunk with long moulded rectangular door, square base raised on ball feet.
