15-cm arched brass dial with engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and foliate pierced blued hands, matted centre with recessed signature plaque signed Robt: Wood London and date aperture, pierced rococo spandrels and moon phase in the arch, 8-day spring driven fusee movement converted to anchor escapement with trip repeating rack hour striking on a bell, attractive proportioned moulded ebonised case with true bell top surmounted by a brass handle and four urn finials, brass lined fornt door with foliate engraved brass spandrels, glass panels to the sides and back, moulded base raised on brass bracket feet
