A very decorative and popular patinated and ormolu mounted elephant mantel clock basically Loui XV and later, the beautiful patinated bronze elephant carrying the movement on his back and on top young ormolu Hercules boy carrying a stick. 
All mounted on an Empire griot marble base and a pink marble second base. 
These mantel clocks were very popular. 
The 8-day striking movement bearing the name Boutar with silk threat suspension.
