A very popular, untouched library empire ormolu mantel clock so-called "La Lisseuse" made for the English market and attributed to Justin Vulliamy. Circa 1820. The lady is sitting behind the desk with an oil lamp mounted on a beautiful marble base. The fusee 8-day timepiece movement with central sweep seconds.
